Ever wondered how to setup those nifty web automations are done with Survey123 or Google Sheets or even any of the online Microsoft programs?
Okay, maybe not, but for an upcoming project, you might need to know how to setup those nifty web automations.
No need to worry, Integromat is here!
You might be asking, what the heck is Integromat?
Integromat is an online service that can be the glue to your online automatic operations. It allows you to easily create webhooks (yikes! what are those?), call on other services to do stuff (without you having to do anything!), and then send emails and reports (automagically).
I first started using Integromat about a year ago. My first automation was just a simply email notification. I needed to tell folks on our project team that someone had entered a survey using our survey form in ESRI's Survey123. While I had to learn how to do it, it was fairly simple and I had it up and running in less than an hour.
And then I did another one.
Then a more complicated one that sent a report along with it.
Then one that had branches.
That's when I discovered that Integromat works with all sorts of online services like Google Documents and Microsoft Office. Integromat has integrations with things like Bank of America, Blogger, Cognito Forms, Edusign, FogBugz, GitHub, Harvest, Kickbox, etc. etc. The list goes on. I just picked those randomly out of the super long list that comes up when you start a scenario. If it is on the internet, Integromat can hook into it.
And do your work for you.
